About this role
Role & responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Provide legal advice on Oil & Gas industry regulations, contractual obligations, and business risks.
- Ensure contracts comply with applicable laws, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
- Identify legal risks, resolve contractual disputes, and support risk mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external counsel on contract execution, compliance, and legal matters.
Preferred candidate profile
- Qualified Lawyer with an LLB degree from a recognized university.
- Minimum 8 years of overall professional experience, including at least 5 years in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Strong expertise in contract drafting, review, negotiation, and commercial agreements.
- Good understanding of applicable legal frameworks, regulatory compliance, and contractual risk management.
- Excellent analytical, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
