Leadership IPO & Financial Communications

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and strategic communications leader to head and drive IPO & Financial Communications mandates at Adfactors PR. The role involves advising marquee clients on high-stakes communication strategies during IPOs, listings, capital market transactions, and other financially sensitive situations.

The incumbent will work closely with promoters, CXOs, investment bankers, legal advisors, and regulatory stakeholders to manage reputation, media engagement, and investor-facing communication throughout the IPO lifecycle. The role requires deep understanding of financial markets, exceptional stakeholder management, strong business media relationships, and the ability to lead large, high-impact mandates in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Advisory & Client Leadership

• Lead strategic communication mandates for IPO-bound and listed companies across sectors.
• Advise clients on communication strategy during IPOs, fundraising announcements, regulatory developments, and market-sensitive situations.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to promoters, boards, and senior leadership teams on reputation management and financial communications.
• Drive messaging frameworks aligned with regulatory and disclosure requirements.

IPO & Capital Markets Communication

• Oversee end-to-end communication planning and execution during IPO processes including announcement strategy, media engagement, investor communication support, and crisis preparedness.
• Work closely with investment bankers, legal counsel, merchant bankers, and compliance teams to ensure communication accuracy and regulatory alignment.
• Provide counsel on sensitive communication matters during listing preparation, valuation discussions, market speculation, and issue-related developments.

Media & Stakeholder Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with business, financial, and mainstream media.
• Lead high-level media interactions, interviews, editorial engagement, and strategic outreach initiatives.
• Manage communication with key external stakeholders including analysts, influencers, institutional ecosystems, and industry bodies where relevant.

Team Leadership & Business Growth

• Lead and mentor high-performing teams across financial communications mandates.
• Drive operational excellence, client servicing quality, and delivery timelines across multiple accounts.
• Support business development initiatives by identifying new opportunities in capital markets and financial communications.
• Contribute to strengthening Adfactors PR's positioning in IPO and financial reputation advisory.

Research, Insights & Market Intelligence

• Track developments across capital markets, regulatory frameworks, and sector trends impacting clients.
• Provide strategic insights and risk assessment related to market perception, media narratives, and reputation issues.
• Guide development of thought leadership, market reports, leadership messaging, and strategic communication documents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Finance, Business Management, Economics, or a related field.
• 12–18 years of relevant experience in Public Relations, Corporate Communications, Financial Communications, or Capital Markets advisory.
• Prior experience handling IPO communications, listed company mandates, investor relations support, or financial reputation management is strongly preferred.
