Lead Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Summary

Own end-to-end quality engineering for a Dynamics 365 enterprise application. Platform emphasis: Dynamics 365 and Power Platform depth is mandatory. Recruiters should look for direct testing of Dataverse, security roles, workflows, integrations and configuration-driven releases.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements analysis, test planning, estimation and execution across releases.
• Validate Dynamics 365 entities, forms, business process flows, security roles, workflows and integrations.
• Coordinate functional, integration, regression, exploratory and UAT support.
• Own defect triage, root-cause collaboration, retesting and closure.
• Validate Power Platform components where used, including Power Apps, Power Automate and Dataverse.
• Partner with developers, product owners, SMEs and automation engineers.
• Mentor assigned analysts and establish reusable test assets and data.
• Managing large projects or processes and/or products and systems with limited oversight from management.
• Coaching, reviewing and delegating work to lower-level professionals.
• Facing IT function related problems that are difficult and moderately complex.
• Serving as an expert within own discipline.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in QA/QE with recent lead-level responsibility.
• Hands-on testing experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Dataverse.
• Knowledge of Dynamics security roles, configuration, workflows/business process flows and integration testing.
• Experience testing APIs and enterprise integrations using Postman or similar tooling.
• Experience with Azure DevOps test plans, work items and release pipelines or equivalent.
• Strong functional, regression, exploratory and risk-based testing capability.
• Ability to translate business processes into end-to-end scenarios and release evidence.
• Preferred Qualification: Power Platform testing experience across Power Apps and Power Automate.
• ACCELQ, Selenium, Playwright or comparable automation exposure.
• Experience with insurance distribution, CRM, sales, policy or commission-related workflows.
• Experience with data migration and reconciliation in Dynamics implementations.
