Position description: Responsible for PMG activities at Business Unit/BV Corporate level

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare project development frameworks and guide project managers to prepare detailed project plans with defined timelines and deliverables to monitor new product development
• Ensure that project objectives are met on time, along with gate reviews and proper closure with sign-off by the Cross-Functional Team (CFT)
• Ensure adherence to the project plan as per the APQP and quality gating process for new products
• Manage the project team (CFT) for new programs
• Manage the project team (CFT) for new programs (Major Changes and Platforms)
• Ensure that an appropriate Project CFT is formed and assign clear roles and responsibilities
• Develop new project control methods to manage delays, failures, risks, issues, process adherence, cost control and compliance and guide project managers in implementing them
• Develop project planning governance tools, frameworks and risk mitigation strategies and ensure their implementation in coordination with the CFT
• Ensure customer satisfaction and adherence to the project budget and development cost
• Ensure customer satisfaction and adherence to the project budget and development cost
• Ensure adherence to the overall budget and monitor project costs at regular intervals
• Ensure proper coordination between the team and Engineering to align product design with customer specifications
• Manage stakeholders, both internal and external
• Ensure the establishment and adherence to a proper communication matrix
• Ensure the proper implementation of the project in the ZOHO application
• Carry out product trials (T0, T1, T2) as per defined timelines; ensure the preparation of detailed trial reports and submission to customers
• Coordinate with customers to gather feedback and based on the reports, prepare a recommended action plan to meet customer expectations and carry out further trials as needed
• Ensure a smooth transition to Manufacturing (Operations) and oversee mass production (SOPs) for new product batches for a defined period
• Ensure the team has the necessary skills, resources and expertise to complete their tasks on time
