Job Title: Lead MEP (Data Center Porjects)

Purpose

The MEP Lead will be responsible for heading the execution of MEP for data center projects. The role ensures delivery of MEP systems in line with quality, safety, budget, schedule, and uptime requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Project Execution & Management

• Lead end-to-end MEP execution for data center construction projects.
• Manage installation and commissioning of critical infrastructure systems.
• Monitor project progress against schedules and milestones.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, vendors, and client teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Review construction methodologies and resolve technical issues during execution.

Mechanical Systems

• Oversee installation and commissioning of:
• Chillers, CRAH/CRAC Units, Cooling Towers, HVAC Systems, Pressurization Systems, Fuel Systems, Water Treatment Systems
• Ensure cooling infrastructure meets design criteria and redundancy requirements.

Electrical Systems

• Lead execution of:
• HT/LT Electrical Systems, Transformers, UPS Systems, DG Sets, Bus Ducts,PDUs
• Ensure electrical distribution complies with data center reliability standards.

Fire Protection & ELV Systems

• Oversee Fire Detection and Suppression Systems.
• Ensure integration of:
• Access Control, CCTV, BMS, EMS, DCIM Systems
• Coordinate system testing and integration activities.

Design & Coordination

• Review MEP drawings, specifications, BOQs, and technical submissions.
• Conduct design coordination meetings with multidiscipline stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate design and constructability issues.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.

Testing & Commissioning

• Develop commissioning plans and procedures.
• Lead IST (Integrated Systems Testing) and Level 1-5 commissioning activities.
• Coordinate witness testing with clients, consultants, and OEMs.
• Ensure smooth project handover with complete documentation.

Quality & Safety

• Ensure adherence to project QA/QC procedures.
• Promote EHS compliance across all MEP activities.
• Conduct inspections, audits, and corrective actions.
• Drive zero-harm and zero-defect culture across project sites
