Role Description The Lead Data Science Instructor is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai. This position involves designing and delivering data science curricula, including lectures, hands-on labs, and project-based learning for learners at various skill levels. The instructor will prepare lesson plans, create learning materials, and evaluate learner progress through assignments, assessments, and feedback sessions. Responsibilities include mentoring learners, staying current with industry trends and tools in data science, collaborating with the product and content teams to refine course offerings, and contributing to continuous improvement of teaching methodologies. The role also requires participation in academic planning meetings, supporting other instructors, and ensuring a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
Qualifications

• Strong background in Science Education with the ability to teach complex concepts in an accessible manner.
• Demonstrated expertise in Physics and Mathematics relevant to data science foundations and analytical thinking.
• Experience as a Qualified Teacher, with a track record of effective classroom or online instruction.
• Proficiency in Lesson Planning, curriculum design, and development of structured learning paths.
• Practical experience in data science, including statistics, machine learning, and data analysis tools (e.g., Python, R, SQL).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate diverse learners.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Prior experience in EdTech or vocational training environments is an advantage.
