Role Description The Labeling Machine Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring labeling machinery on the production line to ensure bottles and packaging are labeled accurately and efficiently. Day-to-day tasks include setting up the labeling machine, loading materials, adjusting machine settings, and inspecting labels for alignment, clarity, and adherence to quality standards. The role involves performing basic maintenance, cleaning equipment, reporting mechanical issues, and following safety and hygiene procedures at all times. The operator collaborates with production and quality teams to meet daily output targets and maintain documentation related to labeling activities. This is a full-time, on-site role based at the United Brothers Distilleries Pvt Ltd facility in Tezpur.
Qualifications

• Ability to operate and monitor production and labeling machinery, with practical experience in machine operation.
• Knowledge of basic quality control practices to ensure accurate, consistent labeling and product standards.
• Familiarity with using hand tools for minor adjustments, routine maintenance, and cleaning of equipment.
• Clear, reliable communication skills for coordinating with production, maintenance, and quality assurance teams.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing, bottling, or packaging environment is preferred.
• Understanding of workplace safety protocols and willingness to follow all safety and hygiene guidelines.
• Basic reading and numerical skills for interpreting labels, batch codes, and production records.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, handle repetitive tasks, and work in a fast-paced production setting.
• Secondary school education or equivalent; technical or vocational training related to machinery is an advantage.
