Lab Technician Semiconductor

Job Description

We are hiring a Lab Technician to support day-to-day semiconductor lab operations and assist engineering teams during validation activities. This is a support role focused on test setup, instrumentation handling, documentation, and lab maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Support engineers during validation and testing activities by preparing test setups and DUTs
• Assist in operating test & measurement instruments such as oscilloscopes, DMMs, power supplies.
• Collect, record, and organize test data accurately during testing activities.
• Operate thermostream systems to support controlled-temperature testing of devices under test (DUTs), following approved procedures.
• Perform good-quality soldering and rework on PCBs, connectors, and cables
• Maintain accurate lab documentation and calibration records
• Safely lift, move, and install lab instruments and equipment
• Follow ESD, safety, lab practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma / BE in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related field
• 4-8 years of experience in a semiconductor or electronics lab environment
• Hands-on experience with test & measurement instruments
• Ability to understand basic test setups
• Strong soldering and rework skills
• Good knowledge of documentation and record keeping
• Familiarity with ESD handling and lab safety standards
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to safely lift instruments up to 2025 kg
• Comfortable working in a lab environment for extended hours
•  Willingness to learn and follow instructions 
•  Organized, detail-oriented, and reliable 
•  Team player with positive attitude
