Role Description The Kitchen & Wardrobe Designer is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad, responsible for designing modular kitchens and wardrobes that align with client needs and Sujako's manufacturing capabilities. Day-to-day tasks include meeting clients to understand functional requirements, space constraints, and aesthetic preferences, and translating these into detailed design concepts and layouts. The designer will prepare 2D and 3D drawings, select materials, finishes, hardware, and accessories, and coordinate with production and installation teams to ensure feasibility, accuracy, and timely execution. The role also involves preparing quotations, updating design revisions based on client feedback, maintaining design documentation, and adhering to company standards and safety guidelines throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in kitchen and wardrobe space planning, modular furniture design, and practical layout optimization.
• Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar 2D/3D tools) for creating accurate drawings and presentations.
• Knowledge of materials, fittings, finishes, and hardware commonly used in modular kitchens, wardrobes, and office furniture.
• Ability to interpret client requirements, provide design recommendations, and communicate concepts clearly in person and in writing.
• Attention to detail in measurements, specifications, and documentation, with a focus on quality and safety standards.
• Effective collaboration skills to work with sales, production, and installation teams, and to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Prior experience in kitchen, wardrobe, or interior design; experience in modular furniture manufacturing environments is an advantage.
• Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in design.
• Willingness to work on-site in Ahmedabad and visit client locations as needed for measurements, supervision, and design reviews.
