Junior Veterinary Assistant

About The Role:

To assist Veterinarians in daily clinic operations and provide care and handling support for pets.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist veterinarian during consultation and treatment procedures

Handle and restrain pets (dogs & cats) safely during check-up

Maintain hygiene and cleanliness of the clinic and OT

Support in vaccination, dressing, and basic lab sample collection

Update pet health records and assist front desk when needed

Guide pet parents on post-treatment care and medicines

Monitor admitted pets and report health status to vet

Manage inventory of medicines and clinic supplies

Eligibility:

12th / Any Degree – BSc Zoology / Life Science / Animal Husbandry preferred

Fresher can apply – Training will be provided

Must be a pet lover and comfortable handling animals

Willing to work in rotational shifts and weekends

Chennai locals preferred – Immediate joiners
