Junior Interior Designer

Role Description The Junior Interior Designer will support the design team in developing concepts, preparing mood boards, and assisting with presentations for residential and commercial projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include space planning, creating and updating drawings, coordinating FF&E selections, and maintaining project documentation. The role involves collaborating with senior designers, architects, and vendors to ensure design intent is accurately communicated and implemented on site. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram, requiring regular coordination with clients, site visits, and supervision of design details during execution. The Junior Interior Designer is expected to contribute creative ideas, maintain organized project files, and adhere to timelines and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Interior Design and Architecture, with the ability to translate concepts into practical solutions.
• Proficiency in Space Planning and Construction Drawings, including layout development and detailing for execution.
• Experience or familiarity with FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) selection, specification, and documentation.
• Relevant design software skills (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite) for drawings, 3D visualization, and presentations.
• Degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a closely related field.
• Attention to detail, strong visual sense, and ability to follow design guidelines and standards.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a team-oriented, on-site environment.
• Willingness to conduct site visits, coordinate with vendors and contractors, and learn from senior team members.
