Job Summary
We are seeking a versatile Full-Stack Developer with strong expertise in React.js and Node.js. You will own end-to-end feature delivery from crafting intuitive user interfaces in React, to building and scaling RESTful services in Node.js and Java, to managing data persistence in PostgreSQL and MongoDB.

The right candidate thrives in a collaborative Agile environment, writes clean, maintainable code, and has a keen eye for system architecture and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and enhance responsive, component-based UIs using React.js (with hooks, context, or Redux for state management).
• Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes and mockups into high-quality, accessible interfaces.
• Optimise rendering performance and bundle size; implement client-side routing and code-splitting.
• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful and event-driven microservices using Node.js (Express / Nest.js).
• Implement message-driven workflows with RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar queuing systems for asynchronous processing.
• Integrate with PostgreSQL and MongoDB model schemas, write efficient queries, and tune indexes for scale.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, demos, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
• Lead and review pull requests, mentor junior developers, and champion SOLID principles, clean architecture, and consistent coding standards.

Skills & Qualifications

• 2 years in professional software development across front-end and back-end.
• Hands-on with the React.js ecosystem (Redux, React Router; Next.js is a plus).
• Proficiency in Node.js (Express / Nest) and Java Spring Boot.
• Deep understanding of OOP, functional programming in JavaScript/Java, and SOLID and DRY principles.
• Expertise in database design and management using PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Working knowledge of message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka) and asynchronous patterns.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and web services.
• Knowledge of build tools such as Maven and Gradle.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and a commitment to following Agile principles.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrable knowledge of best coding practices, including SOLID principles, code refactoring, and optimisation.
• Proficiency in code quality tools such as SonarQube and ESLint.
• Expert knowledge of Git, including branching strategies and merge conflict resolution.
• Strong understanding of design and architectural patterns, including MVC, Microservices, and Event-Driven architectures.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and similar technologies.
• Knowledge of secure coding practices and vulnerability assessment.
• Skills in application performance analysis and optimisation.
