We're looking for a Junior Social Media Video Editor to join our content team and work primarily on short-form videos for Instagram and other social platforms.

Job Description — Junior Social Media Video Editor

We are looking for a Junior Video Editor who understands how to turn raw footage into clean, engaging short-form content.

The role is primarily focused on Reels, short videos, talking-head content, promotional videos, and social media content. You don't need to be a motion graphics expert — we care more about good editing, typography, pacing, visual consistency, and color grading.

What you'll be doing:

• Edit short-form videos for Instagram Reels and other social platforms.
• Create engaging edits with strong pacing, cuts, hooks, and retention in mind.
• Use clean and well-placed typography that complements the video rather than distracting from it.
• Apply basic to intermediate color correction and color grading to maintain a consistent visual look.
• Work with raw footage and turn it into polished, social-ready content.
• Add music, sound effects, transitions, subtitles, and other elements where appropriate.
• Follow brand-specific editing styles and maintain consistency across different clients.
• Collaborate with the content and marketing team to understand the purpose of each video.

What we're looking for:

• Good understanding of short-form content and social media editing.
• Strong sense of typography and visual hierarchy.
• Good understanding of color correction and color grading.
• Good sense of pacing, cuts, framing, and what makes a video engaging.
• Ability to keep edits clean and purposeful without relying heavily on motion graphics.
• Basic understanding of audio, music selection, and sound design.
• Willingness to learn and improve with feedback.
• A portfolio or examples of previous editing work are preferred.

Software:

You should be comfortable working with at least one of:

• Adobe Premiere Pro
• Adobe After Effects
• DaVinci Resolve

CapCut is not preferred for this role.

Experience: Junior / Entry-level

What matters most:

• We are not looking for someone who can simply add effects to a video. We want someone who can make a video feel good to watch — through better cuts, pacing, typography, color, music, and overall visual judgment.
