Junior Architect

Role Description The Junior Architect will support project teams in the design and development of architectural projects, working on-site in Mumbai in a full-time capacity. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing design concepts, drawings, and 3D models; assisting in the development of presentation materials; and supporting senior architects in refining architectural solutions. The role involves coordinating with consultants and contractors, contributing to integration of design details, and helping maintain project documentation and schedules. The Junior Architect will also assist in site visits, measurements, and basic supervision tasks as needed to ensure design intent is accurately implemented.
Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with the ability to translate concepts into clear drawings and models.
• Understanding of Integration and coordination between architectural elements, building services, and structural systems.
• Basic Project Management skills, including organizing tasks, tracking timelines, and supporting documentation.
• Familiarity with Software Development concepts or digital tools is beneficial, especially for parametric design, automation, or custom workflows.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, or similar) and graphic tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or equivalent professional qualification.
• Strong visual communication, technical drawing, and detailing skills, with attention to accuracy and quality.
• Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment in Mumbai, with good time management and communication skills.
• Interest in sustainable design, building codes, and local regulations is an advantage.
