Junior Architect/Interior Designer

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Junior Architect/Interior Designer role based in Mumbai. The role involves assisting in concept development, space planning, and architectural and interior design for ongoing projects. Daily tasks include preparing drawings and 3D models, supporting design presentations, and coordinating with senior team members on design refinements. The Junior Architect/Interior Designer will help with construction documentation, detail drawings, and material selection, as well as liaising with vendors and consultants as required. The position also supports basic project coordination activities, ensuring design intent is maintained through different project stages.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with the ability to contribute to concept development and detailed design.
• Familiarity with Software Development and Integration concepts as they relate to design tools, workflows, or building information modeling (BIM) is an advantage.
• Basic Project Management skills, including organizing tasks, tracking project progress, and coordinating with team members and external partners.
• Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and comfort with presentation tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a closely related field.
• Strong visual communication, attention to detail, and ability to interpret and produce technical drawings.
• Willingness to learn, collaborate in a studio environment, and handle multiple tasks within deadlines.
• Knowledge of local building codes, materials, and construction practices in Mumbai is a plus.
