Job Description Junior Copywriter

We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Junior Copywriter with 3–4 years of experience in advertising and marketing.

The ideal candidate should have a flair for storytelling, a strong command of language, and the ability to develop engaging content across multiple platforms. You will work closely with the creative, design, and strategy teams to bring brand ideas to life through impactful communication.

Key Responsibilities

1. Copywriting & Content Development

• Write engaging and effective copy for digital, social media, print, outdoor, films, and integrated campaigns.
• Develop campaign headlines, taglines, scripts, captions, emailers, and other marketing communication.
• Adapt brand messaging across different formats while maintaining consistency in tone and voice.
• Ensure all content is grammatically accurate, clear, and aligned with brand guidelines.

2. Creative Ideation & Campaign Development

• Collaborate with art directors, designers, and strategists to develop creative concepts.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute fresh campaign ideas.
• Translate creative briefs into compelling copy and storytelling concepts.
• Support the development of integrated marketing campaigns and brand pitches.

3. Brand & Client Communication

• Understand client objectives, target audiences, and brand positioning.
• Develop communication tailored to different industries, audiences, and platforms.
• Incorporate client feedback while maintaining creative quality.
• Conduct basic research on industry trends, competitors, and consumer insights.

4. Collaboration & Execution

• Work closely with creative and account management teams to deliver projects on time.
• Coordinate with designers to ensure copy and visuals work together effectively.
• Proofread and edit content before final delivery.
• Manage multiple assignments while maintaining consistency and attention to detail.

Skills & Qualifications

• 3–4 years of copywriting experience, preferably in an advertising or creative agency.
• Strong command of written and spoken English, with excellent grammar and proofreading skills.
• Experience writing for digital, social media, print, and integrated advertising campaigns.
• Ability to develop creative headlines, campaign concepts, and engaging brand narratives.
• Understanding of brand tonality, consumer behaviour, and marketing communication.
• Familiarity with social media trends, digital content formats, and AI-assisted writing tools.
• Strong conceptual thinking, attention to detail, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to feedback.
