ITIL Corporate Trainer - STOM / ITSM (Part-time, Online)

Career Cracker Academy is looking for an experienced ITIL / ITSM professional to teach our STOM (Service Transition and Operations Management) course as a part-time corporate trainer. Fully remote.

Class timing (mandatory): one live online class every weekday, 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM IST, 1 hour daily, for a full 45-day batch. Please apply only if you can take the class at this exact time every day for the whole batch.

Our students are graduates, freshers and career switchers preparing for Service Desk, Incident Manager, Problem Manager, Change Manager and ITSM Analyst roles. Your job is to make them interview-ready, not just teach theory.

What you will teach (full curriculum: careercracker.com/courses/33):

• Foundations of IT Service Management: ITIL service value system and value chain, the four dimensions, guiding principles, service desk and operations teams
• Incident Management: incident lifecycle, impact, urgency and priority, functional and hierarchical escalation, SLAs, OLAs and underpinning contracts, live incident queues, user communication
• Major Incident Management: declaring a major incident, running the war room and bridge, MIM roles, executive updates, blameless post-incident reviews, major incident metrics
• Problem Management and RCA: reactive and proactive problem management, 5 Whys, fishbone, Kepner-Tregoe, Known Error Database, workarounds, trend analysis
• Change and Release Management: standard, normal and emergency changes, risk and impact assessment, CAB, release and deployment planning, freeze windows, rollback plans
• Service Transition and Knowledge Management: transition planning, configuration management and CMDB, service asset management, knowledge base, early-life support, handover to operations
• Service Operations and Reporting: event, access and request fulfilment, SLA and OLA tracking and breaches, dashboards and KPIs, continual improvement register, management reporting, capacity and availability basics
• Tools and Capstone: hands-on ServiceNow (incident, problem and change modules, flows, reports), Jira Service Management and BMC Remedy overview, end-to-end capstone from incident to change

What the role includes:

• Live classes with real examples from your own work
• Practical, hands-on ServiceNow sessions
• Interview question sessions for every topic
• A one-on-one mock interview with every student before the batch ends

What we are looking for:

• 3+ years hands-on in IT service management: incident, major incident, problem or change management
• ITIL 4 or ITIL Version 5 certification preferred; corporate training or teaching experience is a strong plus
• Working knowledge of ServiceNow; Jira Service Management or BMC Remedy is a plus
• Clear, simple English and the patience to teach beginners
• Laptop, stable internet and a quiet setup for evening classes

Pay: Rs 30,000 per 45-day batch (classes, practicals, interview Q&A and individual mock interviews). Trainers who do well get priority on every new batch.
