ISO Consultant

The team supports clients in optimizing performance, reducing waste, and enhancing overall quality through methods such as Lean Implementation, TPM, and TQM. Core service areas include ISO systems integration (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001), Six Sigma (DMAIC, ZED, Quality Circle), and a range of OPEX tools including 6S, VSM, visual management, and PQCDSM monitoring. The consultancy also provides solutions such as time and motion studies, inventory analysis, workload analysis, FMEA/DFMEA, Heijunka, Kanban systems, lean waste reduction, and lean layout design. Mexef Quality Source focuses on practical, hands-on guidance and strategies that support certification, operational transformation, and sustainable growth.

Role Description:

The Consultant role at Mexef Quality Source is an on-site position based in Ahmedabad. This role involves working closely with client organizations to assess current processes, identify improvement opportunities, and design solutions aligned with ISO, Six Sigma, and OPEX frameworks. The Consultant will conduct data-driven analyses, participate in time and motion studies, support lean waste reduction initiatives, and assist with ISO systems integration and certification readiness. Daily tasks include preparing reports and presentations, facilitating workshops and training sessions, coordinating with client stakeholders, and monitoring implementation progress against agreed project plans. The Consultant is also expected to contribute to continuous improvement of Mexef Quality Source's methodologies and support business development activities as needed.

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of ISO management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, 14001, 45001) and experience supporting audits or certifications.
• Hands-on experience with Six Sigma methodologies (e.g., DMAIC, Quality Circle, basic statistics) and process improvement projects.
• Familiarity with OPEX and Lean tools such as 6S, VSM, visual management, PQCDSM monitoring, and lean waste reduction practices.
• Exposure to TPM and TQM concepts, including reliability-focused maintenance and organization-wide quality initiatives.
• Experience with analytical tools and studies such as time and motion analysis, inventory analysis (e.g., ABC), workload analysis, FMEA/DFMEA, Heijunka, and Kanban systems.
• Ability to interpret operational and quality data, prepare clear documentation, and deliver concise presentations to varied stakeholders.
• Strong consulting skills, including stakeholder engagement, problem-solving, and facilitation of workshops or training sessions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in local languages is an advantage.
