Interior Designer

Role Description The Interior Designer will work on full-time, on-site projects based in Kozhikode, collaborating with architects and design teams to develop interior concepts for residential and commercial spaces. Day-to-day tasks include preparing space plans, mood boards, and 2D/3D drawings; selecting materials, finishes, furniture, and fixtures; and coordinating with vendors and contractors to ensure design intent is executed accurately. The role involves meeting clients, understanding requirements, presenting design proposals, incorporating feedback, and maintaining project documentation. The Interior Designer will also support site visits, quality checks, and timelines to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budget.
Qualifications

• Strong skills in interior space planning, concept development, and material and finish selection.
• Proficiency in design and visualization tools (such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar 2D/3D software).
• Ability to create detailed drawings, presentations, and mood boards for client reviews.
• Knowledge of furniture, lighting, and product specification, with attention to functionality and aesthetics.
• Experience coordinating with contractors, vendors, and site teams, including basic understanding of construction processes.
• Effective communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to explain design ideas clearly and receive feedback constructively.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; previous experience in residential or commercial interiors in Kerala is an advantage.
