Interior Designer - Residential

About the Role

We are looking for a creative, client-focused Interior Designer with strong expertise in modular interiors, space planning, material selection, and 3D visualisation. The ideal candidate should combine design expertise with client management and sales capabilities, including presenting design concepts, preparing quotations, following up with prospective clients, and converting qualified leads into projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Interior Design & Space Planning: Develop functional, aesthetically appealing, and budget-conscious design concepts with effective space utilisation.
• Modular Interiors: Design modular kitchens, wardrobes, storage solutions, and modular furniture.
• Materials & Finishes: Plan false ceilings, wall panelling, lighting layouts, paint finishes, texture paints, and decorative wall treatments.
• Client Handling & Sales: Understand client requirements, preferences, and budgets; present suitable design solutions, follow up with clients, and drive lead conversion.
• Design Presentations: Prepare mood boards, colour palettes, material selections, furniture layouts, and professional design presentations.
• 3D Visualisation: Create detailed 3D designs and realistic renderings to help clients visualise proposed spaces.
• Quotation & Estimation: Prepare accurate quotations, cost estimates, and material specifications based on project scope and client budgets.
• Client Onboarding & Approvals: Manage client interactions, design revisions, feedback, and approvals to ensure a smooth design experience.
• Design Coordination: Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and execution teams to ensure design feasibility and alignment with project requirements.
• Documentation: Maintain design drawings, specifications, quotations, and client approvals.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in interior design, preferably with strong exposure to modular interiors.
• B.Sc. in Interior Design, Architecture, or an equivalent qualification.
• Proficiency in SketchUp, Enscape, and AutoCAD.
• Strong understanding of space planning, modular furniture, materials, finishes, lighting, and ceiling designs.
• Experience in client handling, design presentations, quotation preparation, and cost estimation.
• Ability to create mood boards, material palettes, furniture layouts, and 3D visualisations.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• A client-centric approach, creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to balance design quality with commercial requirements.
