Injection Molding Machine Operator

Role & Responsibilities

• Operate injection molding machines for manufacturing plastic and nylon industrial electrical components.
• Monitor machine settings, including temperature, pressure and cycle time, as per production requirements.
• Assist with mould installation, mould changes and machine setup.
• Inspect finished products for defects and ensure consistent product quality.
• Identify common molding defects and report machine or production issues to the supervisor.
• Monitor raw material usage, production output and rejection rates.
• Maintain daily production records and follow the production schedule.
• Keep machines and the surrounding work area clean and organised.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and quality standards.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• ITI, Diploma or equivalent technical qualification preferred.
• 1 to 5 years of experience operating injection molding machines.
• Knowledge of plastic injection molding, mould handling and basic machine troubleshooting.
• Experience working with nylon/polyamide or other engineering plastics is an advantage.
• Ability to identify common molding defects and maintain product quality.
• Responsible, punctual and comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.
