Role Description The Information Technology Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai, responsible for overseeing and optimizing all technology operations that support Intis Auctions online and offline auction activities. The role includes managing IT infrastructure, networks, servers, and cloud services to ensure high availability, security, and performance of the auction platform and internal systems. The Information Technology Manager will lead the IT team, coordinate with business stakeholders to understand technology needs, implement new tools and applications, and maintain data integrity and backup processes. Daily tasks also involve monitoring system security, managing user access, collaborating with vendors and service providers, and ensuring compliance with relevant IT policies, standards, and best practices. The role requires hands-on problem-solving, timely support for operational issues, and proactive planning for system upgrades and future scalability.
Qualifications

• Strong skills in IT infrastructure management, including servers, networks, operating systems, and cloud services.
• Proficiency in information security practices, data protection, user access control, and backup and recovery processes.
• Experience in managing and supporting web-based applications or platforms, preferably in e-commerce or auction environments.
• Demonstrated ability to lead IT teams, manage projects, coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders, and work with external vendors.
• Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve technical issues quickly in a time-sensitive business setting.
• Relevant academic background, such as a bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Familiarity with database administration, system monitoring tools, and performance optimization techniques.
• Knowledge of IT governance, documentation, and compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to translate business needs into practical technology solutions.
• Prior experience in industrial, manufacturing, asset management, or auction-related domains is an advantage.
