Job Description: Senior HR Business PartnerCompany: Intellect Design Arena Ltd.Role: Senior HR Business Partner (Strategic HRBP)Location: Siruseri, ChennaiWork Model: Full-time, On-site - 5days from officeExperience Level: 12+ YearsRole OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior HR Business Partner (12+ Years) to lead talent strategies for core engineering, product development, and business verticals at our Chennai headquarters.In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to senior business leaders (VPs, Business Unit Heads, and Practice Leaders). You will align workforce strategy with business goals, foster a culture of innovation, manage high-performance teams, and drive organizational effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Business Partnering & Workforce PlanningPartner with Senior Business Leaders and Executive Management to define and execute human capital strategies aligned with FinTech product roadmaps.
• Drive strategic manpower planning, org design, talent mapping, and succession planning for critical tech and leadership roles.
• Leverage HR analytics and dashboards (e.g., CQR, early attrition, time-to-fill, talent density) to deliver actionable business insights.
• Talent Retention & Employee ExperienceLead proactive engagement initiatives, skip-level connects, and stay interviews to maintain high engagement and mitigate key talent attrition.
• Diagnose root causes of turnover and implement targeted retention strategies for high-potential (HiPo) product and tech talent.
• Oversee site-level employee relations, grievance handling, and cultural integration initiatives.
• Performance Management & Capability BuildingDrive the end-to-end performance management cycle, goal cascade, mid-year reviews, and annual evaluation calibrations.
• Identify capability gaps and collaborate with L&D teams to design upskilling frameworks in emerging domains (e.g., Design Thinking, AI in Banking, Microservices).
• Facilitate merit cycles, promotion boards, and total rewards alignment alongside the Compensation & Benefits team.
• Onsite Culture & Change ManagementChampion an authentic in-office collaboration culture, fostering cross-functional alignment and teamwork across product design and engineering practices.
• Lead change management initiatives for organizational scaling, restructuring, and agile transformations.

Qualifications

• Education: MBA / Master's degree in HR, Business Management, or equivalent from a premier institute.

Required Skills

• Total Experience: 12+ years of core HR experience, with at least 6–8 years as a dedicated HRBP in IT, Enterprise SaaS, FinTech, or BFSI product environments.
• Work Location & Cadence: Willingness and commitment to work 100% on-site (Work-from-Office) at our Chennai campus.
• Stakeholder Management: Demonstrated ability to influence and coach C-suite and Senior VP-level business leaders.
• Domain Exposure: Strong familiarity with tech/product talent dynamics, design thinking methodologies, and matrixed organization setups.
• Analytical Capability: High proficiency with data analysis, HR metrics, and driving decisions through talent analytics.
• Labor Laws & Compliance: In-depth understanding of Indian employment laws, compliance, and employee relations practices.
