HR Manager (Recruitment Specialist)

Campus overseas is a study abroad consultancy in Kerala, helping students pursue higher education in destinations such as the UK, Australia, New Zealand, UAE, and Malaysia. We are building a strong team and are looking for an HR professional to own our hiring from start to finish.

About the Role

You will own the complete recruitment cycle, from understanding the requirement to the new hire's first day. You will hire for roles such as Counsellors, Senior Counsellors, Team Leaders, Branch Managers, Application Processors, Visa Staff, and Front-Office/Marketing Staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and post: Work with management to define role requirements. Write job ads (duties, qualifications, salary range, location, last date) and publish them on LinkedIn, Naukri, Indeed, Facebook/Instagram, WhatsApp groups, and college placement cells.
• Source and screen: Review resumes and conduct phone screening. Assess English and Malayalam communication, sales or counselling aptitude, and basic knowledge of overseas education.
• Interview: Run the full interview process, from HR round to final round, including coordination with senior management.
• Hire: Complete reference checks, issue offer letters, negotiate salary and incentives, and follow up until the candidate joins.
• Onboard: Brief new hires on destinations, processes, and targets.
• Track: Maintain the candidate database and a hiring tracker with regular reports.

Requirements

• Degree in HR, Business, or a related field (MBA-HR preferred)
• Proven experience in end-to-end recruitment
• Fluent in English and Malayalam
• Good understanding of the Kerala job market, especially sales and counselling roles
• Familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter, job portals, and applicant tracking

Good to Have

• Experience recruiting for education consultancies, immigration firms, or other service-sector companies in Kerala region.
