About the Role:
An established, high-growth consumer brand is looking for a senior retail leader to drive its pan-India offline business. The role will own retail P&L, performance, operations, expansion and organisational leadership, with a strong focus on profitable growth and operational excellence.
Preference:
Candidates who have managed a retail network of 500 - 600 + stores will be strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the offline retail business with ownership of revenue, profitability, store productivity and overall business performance.
- Drive pan-India retail operations, ensuring consistent execution, customer experience and operational standards.
- Develop and execute retail expansion strategies, including location assessment, new store launches and network optimisation.
- Improve store-level metrics, including sales productivity, conversion, footfall, customer experience and operating efficiency.
- Build and lead a high-performing retail organisation, strengthening leadership capability and accountability across locations.
- Collaborate with merchandising, marketing, supply chain, finance and HR teams to drive business outcomes.
Skills & Experience:
- 10 - 20 years of experience in organised retail, with substantial exposure to multi-store operations and pan-India business management.
- Prior experience in Luxury retail, premium lifestyle or Jewellery or other high-value organised retail categories is preferred, along with a strong understanding of multi-store operations and retail business performance.
- Proven track record of driving retail growth, profitability and operational excellence.
- Experience managing large, geographically distributed teams and complex retail networks.
- Strong commercial acumen, analytical ability and stakeholder management skills.
