Role Description The Head of Supply Chain is a full-time, remote role responsible for overseeing end-to-end supply chain operations for PYAAS, from farm sourcing to last-mile delivery. This role includes designing and implementing supply chain strategies, optimizing procurement, production planning, warehousing, and distribution for all dairy products. The Head of Supply Chain will manage relationships with farmers, logistics partners, and internal teams to ensure product availability, quality, and cost efficiencies. Daily responsibilities include monitoring demand forecasts, inventory levels, and cold chain performance, resolving operational bottlenecks, and ensuring compliance with food safety and regulatory standards. The role also involves leading continuous improvement initiatives, establishing performance metrics, implementing supply chain technologies, and building a high-performing supply chain team aligned with PYAAS's farm-to-home vision.
Qualifications

• Strong expertise in supply chain management, including demand planning, procurement, production planning, inventory management, and logistics.
• Experience in designing and optimizing cold chain operations, preferably within dairy, FMCG, or food and beverage sectors.
• Proficiency in supply chain analytics, data-driven decision-making, and the use of ERP or supply chain planning tools.
• Knowledge of quality assurance, food safety standards, and regulatory compliance across sourcing, processing, and distribution.
• Demonstrated ability to build and manage supplier and partner relationships, including contract negotiation and performance management.
• Strong leadership, team management, and cross-functional collaboration skills, with experience leading remote and distributed teams.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to operate in a fast-paced growth environment.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, Agribusiness, or a related field; relevant professional certifications (e.g., APICS, CSCP, CPM) are an advantage.
