Job Description

• Develop and execute enterprise-wide manpower optimisation strategies across multiple business units.
• Identify productivity improvement opportunities through Industrial Engineering and Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
• Drive shopfloor efficiency enhancement initiatives, including line balancing, work measurement and capacity optimisation.
• Lead process improvement, value stream mapping and waste elimination projects.
• Implement automation solutions to reduce repetitive and non-value-added activities.
• Benchmark manufacturing productivity metrics and establish best practices across group companies.
• Work closely with plant leadership teams to improve labour utilisation and overall equipment effectiveness.
• Establish productivity KPIs, governance mechanisms and performance review frameworks.
• Support digital transformation initiatives related to manufacturing excellence and workforce productivity.
• Build a culture of continuous improvement across plants and business units.
  
  

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering; Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines preferred.
• 15+ years of experience in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Excellence, Operational Excellence, Process Engineering or Productivity Improvement roles.
• Proven track record of leading large-scale manpower optimisation and productivity enhancement programmes.
• Strong expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Work Study, Time & Motion Studies and Process Improvement methodologies.
• Experience in driving automation, digitisation and operational transformation projects within manufacturing environments.
• Senior business leaders with significant experience in manpower productivity, cost optimisation and manufacturing transformation will also be considered.
• Exposure to automotive, auto components, engineering, industrial manufacturing or similar sectors preferred.
• Strong stakeholder management and change leadership skills, with the ability to influence leaders across multiple businesses.
