Game Designer ( Roblox )

Flecks Labs is a Hyderabad-based game studio building and scaling Roblox titles — anime ARPGs, simulators, and more. We're looking for a game designer who plays Roblox seriously and can turn that instinct into systems that retain and monetize.

What you'll do

• Design core loops, progression, and meta systems for new and live Roblox titles
• Build and balance economies: currencies, gacha rates, pity systems, sinks and faucets, pricing
• Own the first-session experience — the first 5 minutes decide whether a player stays
• Write clear design docs and specs the engineering team can build from without guesswork
• Dig into retention and monetization data, form hypotheses, and ship changes against them
• Tear down top Roblox games and pull out what's actually working and why

What we're looking for

• 2+ years designing games in Roblox/UEFN
• Real fluency in Roblox as a platform: the discovery algorithm, what makes a game trend, why certain genres pop
• Strong economy and progression instincts — you can model a curve in a spreadsheet and defend it
• Comfortable with data: retention curves, funnels, conversion, ARPDAU
• You play a lot of games and can articulate why something feels good, not just that it does

Nice to have

• Luau scripting or Roblox Studio prototyping ability
• Experience with gacha, battle pass, or live-ops content cadence
• Anime/manga literacy — a lot of our audience lives there
