About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager Frontend to lead multiple engineering squads responsible for building scalable, secure, and high-performance customer-facing digital platforms. The ideal candidate combines strong frontend architecture expertise, modern web development practices, and proven people leadership capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Define and execute frontend engineering strategy aligned with organizational goals.
Drive frontend modernization initiatives and technology roadmaps.
¢ Own end-to-end delivery of frontend initiatives across multiple squads.
¢ Lead, mentor, and develop frontend engineering teams.
¢ Review and approve High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents.
¢ Ensure adoption of reusable component libraries and enterprise design systems.
¢ Drive frontend performance optimization, accessibility, security, and observability standards.
¢ Lead incident management, root cause analysis, and post-incident reviews for critical production issues.
¢ Partner with Product, Design, QA, Backend, Business, and Operations teams.
¢ Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications
¢ Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
¢ 8+ years of frontend engineering experience.
¢ 25 years of people management experience leading engineering teams and driving delivery across multiple projects.
¢ Proven experience delivering large-scale FinTech, Banking, Payments, Lending, or NBFC platforms.
¢ Strong expertise in Angular, React, and modern frontend architectures.
¢ Experience working within regulated financial environments.
Preferred Qualifications
¢ Experience building customer-facing lending or banking applications.
¢ Exposure to RBI/NHB regulatory requirements.
¢ Experience leading frontend modernization or migration programs.
¢ Experience implementing enterprise design systems.
¢ MBA or Postgraduate degree is an advantage.
Good to Have
¢ Experience with Micro Frontend Architecture
¢ Knowledge of Web Accessibility Standards (WCAG)
