French Language Trainer – TEF/TCF Canada
Job Type: Remote / Work From Home
Employment Type: Part-time / Hourly
Target Students: Canadian Immigration Applicants
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and highly proficient French Language Trainer to teach French to students preparing for Canadian immigration, particularly candidates targeting French-language proficiency through TEF Canada and TCF Canada.
The ideal candidate should have strong French proficiency, substantial teaching experience, and the ability to take a student from A1 through B2 level, followed by focused TEF/TCF preparation.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver structured online French classes to Canadian immigration students.
- Teach students from A1 to B2 level.
- Prepare students specifically for TEF Canada / TCF Canada.
- Develop students abilities across:
- Listening
- Reading
- Writing
- Speaking
- Conduct mock tests, practice sessions and exam-oriented training.
- Track student progress and identify areas requiring improvement.
- Provide feedback and guidance to improve students French scores.
- Follow a structured curriculum and adapt teaching methods according to individual student requirements.
- Help students understand the TEF/TCF exam format, question patterns and time-management strategies.
Mandatory Requirements
- Minimum C1 level French proficiency.
- Minimum 3–4 years of French teaching experience.
- Candidate must have taken TEF and/or TCF.
- Prior experience preparing students for TEF Canada / TCF Canada is highly important.
- Must have a complete curriculum covering A1, A2, B1, B2 + TEF/TCF preparation.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience conducting online classes.
Curriculum Requirement
A complete curriculum is mandatory.
The trainer must be able to provide/deliver a structured learning program covering:
A1 A2 B1 B2 TEF/TCF Preparation
The curriculum should include appropriate study material, exercises, assessments, mock tests and exam preparation.
Availability
The trainer must be comfortable with flexible teaching schedules.
Required availability may include:
Morning: 5:00 AM – 11:00 AM IST
Evening: 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM IST
Classes will generally be 1 hour per session.
A 30-minute demo session will be part of the selection process.
Compensation
Hourly remuneration will be discussed based on the candidate's:
