Founding Field Ops Associate Building India's AI Robotics Data (Ludhiana)

Employment Type: Contract to start (3–6 months, depending on profile), with strong expectation of full-time conversion within 6 months

About the Role

Robotics Data AI is building the data infrastructure that will train India's humanoid robots and physical AI systems, starting right here in Ludhiana's factories. Founded by the Puneet Jindal the person behind Labellerr AI, a data annotation and supply chain platform that's already found real traction and media recognition in internation media channels such as CNN, The Business Insider, TF1, The Guardian , The Indian Express and more coming, Robotics Data is the next build from a founder who's done this before.

This isn't a support role buried in a large team. You'll be one of the first people on the ground, running real operations that directly feed into what robots learn to do in the real world.

You'll work directly under our Field Ops Lead, owning execution across factory and commercial sites: device handling, site coordination, scheduling, troubleshooting, and making sure every bit of data collected actually gets delivered and used.

What You'll Do

• Run daily data collection operations across industrial and commercial sites in Ludhiana, places where the next generation of AI-powered manufacturing is being built
• Operate and maintain cutting-edge data capture devices, including company-owned and customer hardware
• Be the face of Robotics Data on the ground with factory and site partners, real ownership, real trust
• Track and report progress that directly feeds project delivery and revenue
• Travel locally and occasionally beyond Ludhiana as we scale into new states
• Catch problems before they become issues, and solve what's in your control

Who We're Looking For

We're not hiring for potential alone. We want someone who has already proven, in some form, that they create opportunities instead of waiting for one to be handed to them. That could be a business you started, a community you built, a competition you won, a skill you taught yourself from scratch, anything that shows you move before permission arrives.

• 0–3 years of experience (freshers welcome if you can show this track record)
• Accountable: owns outcomes without being chased
• Genuinely flexible with travel, not just saying so
• Thrives in unstructured, on-ground environments, not looking for a comfortable desk job
• Mature enough to represent the company independently with customers and factory partners
• Bonus: comfortable with tech/devices AND good with people

Engagement Structure

We're hiring multiple people into this team right now, starting as a 3–6 month contract depending on your experience and profile. Almost all roles here are expected to convert to full-time within 6 months, this is a genuine starting point for the team we're building in Ludhiana, not a short-term gig.
