We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Flink Streaming Developer with strong expertise in Apache Flink on AWS, real-time streaming architectures, and Java-based distributed systems. The ideal candidate should have extensive hands-on experience designing, developing, deploying, tuning, and operating large-scale streaming applications using AWS Managed Service for Apache Flink (MSF).

The candidate should possess deep knowledge of Flink DataStream API, Table API, SQL API, stateful stream processing, event-time processing, checkpointing, fault tolerance, and performance optimization. Experience operating Flink applications in production environments with high throughput and low latency requirements is essential.

AWS Flink Operations
Deploy and manage applications using AWS Managed Service for Apache Flink.
Configure and optimize Flink clusters for production workloads.
Monitor application performance, resource utilization, and operational health.
Troubleshoot runtime issues, state management problems, checkpoint failures, and backpressure scenarios.
Performance Tuning
Perform Flink job optimization and performance tuning.
Analyze:
Job latency
Throughput
Checkpoint duration
State size
Memory utilization
TaskManager and JobManager performance
Tune:
Parallelism
Checkpoint intervals
State backends
RocksDB configurations
Network buffers
Memory allocation
Architecture & Design
Design streaming architectures supporting exactly-once and at-least-once processing semantics.
Implement stateful stream processing patterns.
Design resilient event-driven systems with fault tolerance and recovery strategies.
Participate in architecture reviews and provide recommendations for scalability and operational excellence.
Production Support
Support production deployments and release management activities.
Perform root cause analysis for production incidents.
Establish monitoring, alerting, and observability standards.
Ensure SLAs for latency, availability, and throughput are maintained.
