Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Planning & Analysis:

o Support annual budgeting, financial planning, forecasting, and periodic reforecasting.

o Analyse actual performance against budgets and forecasts and identify key variances.

o Prepare financial models, business forecasts, and scenario analyses to support decision-making.

• Business Performance Analysis:

o Analyse revenue, costs, margins, profitability, and key business performance metrics.

o Identify trends, business drivers, risks, and opportunities through financial and operational data.

o Translate financial data into actionable insights and recommendations for business teams.

• MIS & Management Reporting:

o Prepare regular MIS, dashboards, and performance reports for leadership review.

o Develop and maintain business performance trackers and financial reports.

o Present key findings and insights in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders.

• Business Partnering & Stakeholder Management:

o Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business performance and financial drivers.

o Partner with business teams on planning, performance tracking, and decision-making.

o Support leadership with data-backed analysis for strategic and operational initiatives.

• Process & Analytics:

o Identify opportunities to improve financial reporting, analysis, and business processes.

o Leverage data and technology to improve reporting efficiency and decision-making.

o Exposure to AI tools, automation, or AI-led analytics will be an added advantage.

Requirements:

• Experience:

o Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience in FP&A, Business Finance, Business Analytics, or a similar role.

o Experience in the Retail / Consumer sector is preferred.

o Strong exposure to financial planning, forecasting, variance analysis, and business performance reporting.

• Skills:

o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a business-oriented mindset.

o Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and strong working knowledge of MS Office.

o Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

o Ability to interpret financial and business data and translate it into actionable insights.

• Education:

o Chartered Accountant (CA), qualified in 2022.

o Strong understanding of financial analysis, business performance, and commercial decision-making.
