Financial Analyst

We are looking for a detail-oriented Financial Analyst with experience in financial data operations, financial modelling, and financial statement analysis. The role involves analyzing broker estimates, maintaining consensus earnings data, validating financial information, and ensuring high standards of data accuracy. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, advanced Excel proficiency, and the ability to work with large datasets and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Aggregate, analyze, and maintain consensus estimates across Income Statements, Balance Sheets, Cash Flow Statements, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Capture and standardize broker estimates across financial line items and sector-specific KPIs.
• Track quarterly earnings releases, broker estimate revisions, and management guidance updates.
• Analyze financial statements under GAAP, IFRS, and other applicable accounting standards.
• Reconcile reported financial results against consensus expectations and investigate discrepancies.
• Monitor analyst coverage trends, estimate variations, and historical consensus data.
• Perform data validation and quality checks to identify anomalies, outliers, and inconsistencies.
• Support earnings models, KPI mapping, estimate tracking dashboards, and sector-specific modelling frameworks.
• Collaborate with research, product, QA, and technology teams to improve data accuracy and reporting processes.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation using Excel, VBA, or Python.

Education & Experience

• Master's degree in Finance or a related field is mandatory.
• 2–5 years of relevant professional experience in financial data operations, financial modelling, or financial statement analysis.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, financial analysis, and revenue drivers.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including lookup functions, Pivot Tables, and financial modelling.
