Finance Manager

Role Description The Finance Manager role at PW is a full-time, on-site position based in Hyderabad. The Finance Manager will oversee day-to-day financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting for business units and projects. This role includes managing cash flow, monitoring expenses, ensuring timely closures of books, and coordinating audits and compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations. The Finance Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic decision-making, evaluate investments, and optimize resource allocation. The role also involves implementing financial controls, improving processes, and preparing management reports and dashboards for senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Strong financial planning and analysis skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Proficiency in accounting, financial reporting, and compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
• Experience in cash flow management, working capital optimization, and cost control.
• Strong Experience in Tally is a MUST.
• Ability to use financial tools and ERP or accounting software; strong Excel and data analysis skills.
• Demonstrated ability to partner with business teams, present insights, and support strategic decisions.
• Excellent numerical aptitude, attention to detail, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts clearly.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; CA, CMA, or MBA in Finance is an advantage.
• Prior experience in education, edtech, or high-growth organizations is preferred.
• Ability to work on-site in Hyderabad and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
