Job Title: Finance Functional Consultant – ERP (SAP S/4HANA / Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O)

About The Role

We are an ERP-led business transformation consulting firm. We help clients move from fragmented processes to standardised, integrated, best-practice operations on leading ERP platforms. We are hiring an experienced finance professional to join our ERP practice as a Finance Functional Consultant. You will work with clients across manufacturing, retail, distribution and services, including multinationals, large corporates and fast-growing mid-sized businesses.

This role suits accounting and finance professionals who want to move into ERP consulting. Prior SAP or Dynamics experience is a plus but not mandatory. We will build your readiness on the platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Design process solutions and establish system readiness for the Finance module in Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O and/or SAP S/4HANA.
• Lead and support end-to-end ERP implementations for clients of varying scale and complexity.
• Map clients accounting practices, trial balance, costing and audit requirements into the ERP solution.
• Work with surrounding components such as Electronic Reporting, Logic Apps and cloud/integration technologies.
• Design financial data flows so books stay clean, compliant and audit-ready for Big 4 and top-tier audit firms.
• Build and maintain MIS and reporting models, including Excel frameworks and unit-level profitability tracking.
• Contribute to knowledge management and capability-building programmes for SAP and Dynamics 365 F&O.
• Support change management so new processes are adopted in clients day-to-day working.
  
  

Required Qualifications And Skills

• B.Com and/or M.Com with a good academic record from a reputed institution.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in financial accounting and consolidation at unit or plant level.
• Hands-on experience across Fixed Assets, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Cash & Bank, Taxation and General Ledger.
• Experience preparing financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) and closing books at year end.
• Experience with TDS and GST return preparation and filing.
• Exposure to Internal, Statutory, Bank and Tax audits.
• Strong grasp of inventory valuation, cost accounting, trial balance alignment and profitability design.
• Working knowledge of R2R (Record to Report), P2P (Procure to Pay) and RM2FG (Raw Material to Finished Goods) processes.
• A stable, progressive career with meaningful tenure, ideally with most of your career in one organisation.
• Background in manufacturing, retail, a CA firm or a law firm is welcome.

• Experience with SAP or Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O.
• CA qualification or CA-firm exposure.

• A conceptual understanding of accounting, beyond data entry or voucher processing.
• Interest in client-facing consulting, with willingness to travel 50–70% depending on business needs.
