Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Finance ERP Functional Consultant with strong financial accounting, consolidation and process knowledge to join our ERP practice.

The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of core finance and accounting functions, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Taxation, Cost Accounting and Financial Reporting.

The candidate will be responsible for understanding client finance processes, designing functional solutions and supporting end-to-end ERP implementation projects using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and/or SAP S/4HANA.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead finance functional solutioning and support ERP implementation projects using Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O and/or SAP S/4HANA.

- Understand, evaluate and map existing client accounting and financial processes into ERP systems.

- Work across core finance functions, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets, Cash & Bank and Taxation.

- Handle financial accounting, consolidation, trial balance alignment and preparation of financial statements.

- Develop and structure financial data flows to ensure accurate accounting, financial governance and audit readiness.

- Work on Record to Report (R2R), Procure to Pay (P2P) and Raw Material to Finished Goods (RM2FG) workflows.

- Understand inventory valuation frameworks, cost accounting systems, balance sheet structures and profitability analysis.

- Support year-end financial closing, book finalization and statutory compliance requirements.

- Work with GST and TDS returns, internal audits, statutory audits, bank audits and tax audits.

- Develop MIS reports, financial models and advanced Excel-based reporting frameworks for management decision-making.

- Support functional integration involving Electronic Reporting, Logic Apps and related cloud/integration technologies.

- Participate in client-facing discussions, process assessments, implementation planning and knowledge management initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- B.Com / M.Com qualification with a strong academic background. CA candidates with relevant experience may also be considered.

- Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in Finance, Accounting, Financial Consolidation or ERP Finance Consulting.

- Strong understanding of:

1. General Ledger (GL)

2. Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

3. Fixed Assets

4. Cash & Bank Management

5. Taxation, GST and TDS

6. Financial Statements - P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow

7. Trial Balance and Year-End Closing

8. Inventory Valuation and Cost Accounting

- Exposure to SAP or Microsoft Dynamics ERP platforms is preferred.

- Working knowledge of R2R, P2P and RM2FG business processes.

- Strong understanding of financial controls, audit processes and financial reporting.

- Advanced MS Excel and MIS reporting skills.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving and client communication abilities.

- Willingness to travel for client engagements and ERP implementation assignments.
