Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Controller to provide fractional support to a global finance and accounting team. The role owns defined portions of the month-end close, technical accounting, and controls execution, and acts as a senior extension of the global accounting leadership. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently, producing audit-ready work products, and operating across multiple legal entities and currencies.

Key Responsibilities

Close and Financial Reporting

• Lead or co-lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close for assigned entities, including the close calendar, task tracking, and on-time delivery
• Review journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and; ensure proper support and approvals
• Ensure proper intercompany transactions and eliminations are supported as well as currency
• Support management reporting packages and variance commentary
• Work with local client staff to ensure matters are raised to Finance, Accounting, Tax and Treasury team

Intercompany and Multi-Entity Accounting

• Reconcile and settle intercompany balances, and maintain transfer pricing and recharge support in coordination with Tax
• Ensure consistent policies and procedures across entities

Indian Statutory and Tax Compliance

• Annually prepare and review statutory financial statements (Tally)
• Coordinate with external advisors on GST, TDS, income tax, and Companies Act / MCA filings
• EDPMS effort to facilitate cleardown of existing items

·        Document procedures and desktop instructions to create repeatable processes
