Facade Project Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Review architectural drawings, specifications, and faade design requirements.
• Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, MEP teams, and contractors regarding faade works.
• Prepare and review shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and material submittals.
• Ensure faade systems comply with project specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Monitor fabrication, installation, and erection activities of curtain walls, glazing, cladding, ACP, louvers, skylights, and other faade elements.
• Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues related to faade installation.
• Check dimensional accuracy, alignment, waterproofing, sealant application, and structural integrity of faade components.
• Coordinate mock-ups, performance testing, and third-party inspections.
• Review material procurement schedules and monitor delivery to meet project timelines.
• Ensure compliance with approved method statements, risk assessments, and HSE requirements.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure adherence to project schedules.
• Coordinate snag rectification and ensure timely closure of punch-list items.
• Support project handover activities and provide as-built documentation.

Preferred candidate profile

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech. in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, or related discipline.
• 5-15 years of experience in faade execution for high-rise residential, commercial, data center, or mixed-use projects.
• Experience in curtain wall systems, glazing, ACP cladding, stone cladding, and building envelope works.
• Knowledge of faade installation methodologies, quality standards, and safety practices.
