Export Documentation Officer

Brief Description of Duties (or attach the Job Description) :

1. Thorough knowledge of export documentation requirements and customs clearance procedures.

2. Ability to read and interpret Letters of Credit (LCs) and prepare commercial invoices, packing

lists, and other export documents in accordance with LC terms and conditions.

3. Sound knowledge of export incentive schemes and benefits applicable to pharmaceutical exports

under the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) and other relevant government

regulations.

4. Experience in coordinating with freight forwarders, customs brokers, airlines, and shipping lines

to obtain competitive freight rates and ensure timely shipment of consignments.

5. Ability to monitor export shipments and follow up with overseas customers and banks to ensure

receipt of export payments within the prescribed due dates.

6. Good understanding of export compliance, FEMA regulations, and banking procedures related to

export transactions.

7. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiarity with customs, DGFT, and

shipping-related online portals.
