Executive - QA/QC - Kanpur

Role & responsibilities:

1. To ensure compliance of PNGRB and other regulations for quality and service standards - To set up system for compliance of quality and service standards specified in PNGRB and other regulations. To carry out periodic audits for checking quality and service standards.
2. To play an active role in inspection of equipments and services for ensuring quality of incoming materials and services -To do inspection as per specification and tenders and contract allocation process for quality related issues. To set up QC process & testing procedures as per customer plan and requirement for incoming materials.
3. Construction Audits with respect to Steel, PE/PNG, CNG, CGS and associated facilities and Risk Audits for DRS, MRS, SR, CGS and Industrial/Commercial Installations and CAPA tracking.
4. Pre commissioning and commissioning audit of Steel Network, CNG station, PE-PNG Network and ensure compliance in line with standard requirements.
5. Ensure Management of changes (MOC) implementation as per procedure.
6. Review the Non Routine Operation (NRO) procedure and ensure execution of work in line with approved NRO.
7. Monitoring the integrity of the steel pipeline network using cathodic protection.
8. To assist other Departments to improve quality standards. - To trouble shoot the project and O&M teams for process related quality problems.
9. Ensure activities to meet with and integrate with organisational requirements for quality management - To ensure proper systems and procedures are followed as per ISO/Customer requirement. Establish and implement necessary communication strategy for the improvement and awareness of quality issues across all departments.
10. Knowledge of SAP & MS Office tools : Possess expert knowledge of SAP and MS office tools and can guide team in SAP and MS office tools.
11. Document control, MIS, Analysis and Control: Is technically competent and possess expert knowledge to review and certify documents, MIS and Analysis and problem solved. Possess adequate technical competence and has fair knowledge to review and certify documents, MIS

Key Skills: BE with NDT level II, relevant experience in CGD
