Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Event Sales Manager role based in New Delhi. The Event Sales Manager will be responsible for identifying and securing event business, managing client relationships, and driving revenue through private and corporate events. Day-to-day tasks include prospecting new clients, conducting sales presentations, preparing proposals, negotiating contracts, and closing event sales. The role involves coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth event execution, tracking sales performance, and providing regular reports and forecasts. The Event Sales Manager will also gather feedback to improve event offerings and support strategic initiatives to expand the event portfolio.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Event Planning and Event Management skills, with experience coordinating corporate events.
• Candidates should possess solid Sales skills, including prospecting, negotiation, and closing deals.
• Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills for interacting with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
• Candidates should possess experience managing corporate Events and tailoring event solutions to client needs.
• Proven track record in event sales preferably in a corporate environment.
• Ability to work on-site in New Delhi and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and client service.
• Bachelor's / master's degree in business, Mass Communication Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field is preferred.

Required Skills

1. Proven experience working as a business development manager, sales manager, or in a similar role in the event management industry .

2. Strong understanding of the event industry, with the ability to build rapport, influence decision-makers, and negotiate effectively.

3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients, vendors, and team members and negotiate contracts and agreements.

4. Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities and overcoming challenges.

5.Results-oriented mindset, with a focus on achieving sales targets, meeting deadlines, and delivering exceptional customer service.

6. Flexibility to travel as needed for client meetings, industry events, and business development activities.
