You set the technical direction for a delivery organization of eight teams — four solution teams, one integration team, and three deployment teams — and keep them building toward one coherent architecture. You translate business vision into an architecture strategy, stay close enough to the code to make real decisions, and steer teams through clear standards and influence rather than hand-offs.

What You'll Do

• Translate business goals into an overarching architecture strategy that spans solution design, integration, and deployment.
• Define and maintain the standards, patterns, and reference designs the eight teams build to, so their work fits together into one system.
• Stay hands-on: prototype, review designs and code, and unblock teams on the technical decisions that matter.
• Steer four solution teams, one integration team, and three deployment teams toward shared architectural goals, aligning them through clear guidance.
• Make and explain trade-offs across cost, risk, scalability, and security so stakeholders can decide with confidence.
• Coach architects and engineers across the teams, raising the technical bar as the organization grows.
  
  

What You Must Bring

All five are required.

• Turn a business vision into a clear, end-to-end architecture strategy across solution, integration, and deployment domains.
• Set architecture standards and reference designs — including security and compliance requirements — that many teams build to consistently.
• Work hands-on with real depth in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud): prototyping, reviewing, and resolving concrete technical problems.
• Align and steer several delivery teams toward shared goals through influence rather than direct authority.
• Communicate technical trade-offs clearly to both engineers and business stakeholders.
  
  

Nice To Have (not Required)

• Familiarity with an architecture framework such as TOGAF.
• Experience designing integration and event-driven systems that span many teams.
