Role Description The English Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging and age-appropriate English lessons, including literature, language, and writing skills, in alignment with ICSE curriculum standards. Daily tasks include planning and preparing lesson plans, conducting classroom instruction, assessing student work, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining accurate academic records. The teacher will foster a supportive classroom environment, encourage student participation, manage classroom behavior, and collaborate with colleagues on academic and co-curricular initiatives. Responsibilities also include communicating with parents or guardians on student progress and participating in staff meetings, trainings, and school events. This is a full-time, on-site role based at Cambridge School KRPuram-KA018 in Bengaluru.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in English Teaching and Teaching, with the ability to deliver clear, structured instruction to diverse learners.
• Candidates should possess skills in Lesson Planning and Education, including designing curriculum-aligned lesson plans and assessments.
• Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with students, families, and colleagues.
• Relevant academic qualifications such as a Bachelor's or Master's degree in English, Education, or a related field.
• Formal teacher training (B.Ed. or equivalent) and familiarity with ICSE/CISCE curriculum are highly beneficial.
• Proven classroom management abilities and a student-centered teaching approach.
• Comfort with using basic educational technology and digital tools to support learning.
• Prior teaching experience in school settings, especially at primary or secondary levels, is an advantage.
