Engineering Manager, Inventory Planning Platform

Role & responsibilities

Tech Stack

• Languages & Frameworks: Python, Django, Golang, Node.js, Kotlin/Java, React JS
• AI / Agentic: LLM APIs and agent frameworks, tool/function calling, MCP or similar integration patterns,

evaluation and observability tooling for LLM systems

• Architecture: RESTful APIs, Microservices / Service-Oriented Architecture
• Databases: PostgreSQL / AWS RDS, MongoDB
• Caching: Redis or equivalent
• Infrastructure: Docker, AWS / GCP
• Data Processing: Large-scale batch and real-time planning pipelines (300GB+)

Qualifications

• 6 to 9 years of software engineering experience with strong backend or full-stack depth.
• 2+ years leading engineers as an engineering manager or tech lead, with direct reports.
• Hands-on experience designing and shipping AI/LLM-powered systems in production, ideally agentic

workflows with tool use, orchestration, evaluation, and guardrails.

• Strong system design instincts and the ability to weigh architecture trade-offs and guide a team toward

sound decisions.

• Demonstrated experience optimizing systems at scale: query tuning, schema design, caching, and pipeline

performance on large datasets.

• Track record of delivering complex, high-impact products in fast-paced environments.
• Experience across the full engineering lifecycle: hiring, goal-setting, delivery, and growth.
• Clear, direct communicator, effective with engineers, product, and business stakeholders.

Nice to Have

• Experience in supply chain, inventory planning, replenishment, logistics, marketplace, or quick commerce.
• Exposure to forecasting, demand planning, or optimization algorithms, and comfort integrating model

outputs into production systems.

• Experience building human-in-the-loop or decision-automation products for operations users.
• Experience with multi-region or global operational systems and distributed teams
