About the Role:

We are looking for a Email Marketing Executive who will own the setup, execution, and optimization of our email marketing campaigns across the customer lifecycle. This role is about driving engagement and conversion through well-targeted, well-timed campaigns, using platforms like MoEngage and ConvertKit. You will combine hands-on campaign execution with attention to detail and a test-and-learn mindset, working closely with the Senior VP, Marketing, and cross-functional partners in design, content, and analytics to ensure every campaign performs.

What You'll Own

Campaign Setup & Execution

• Set up, schedule, and execute email marketing campaigns end-to-end using MoEngage and ConvertKit.
• Segment audiences by behavior, plan, lifecycle stage, and engagement level to deliver relevant messaging.
• Build and maintain automated email workflows (welcome series, nurture sequences, cart/abandonment flows, re-engagement, transactional triggers).
• Design campaign calendars in coordination with marketing, product, and sales teams to align with promotions, launches, and business priorities.
• Content & Design Coordination
• Manage email templates, ensuring consistent branding, responsive design, and adherence to accessibility best practices.
• Collaborate with content and design teams to develop compelling copy and visuals tailored to audience segments.
• Conduct QA on all campaigns prior to send — links, personalization tokens, rendering across devices/clients, and audience targeting.

Testing & Optimization

• Continuously test subject lines, content, timing, and send frequency to improve open rates, CTR, and conversion.
• Run structured A/B tests across campaigns and document learnings to scale winning variations.
• Troubleshoot deliverability issues and work to continuously improve sender reputation and inbox placement.

Analytics & Reporting

• Monitor and report on key campaign metrics (open rate, CTR, conversion, unsubscribe/bounce rate).
• Translate performance insights into clear, actionable optimization recommendations.
• Maintain list hygiene and ensure compliance with email regulations
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Work with content and design teams to align messaging with brand and campaign goals.
• Partner with analytics/data teams to track campaign performance against targets.
• Stay current on email marketing trends, tools, and platform updates to bring fresh ideas to campaign strategy.

What You'll Bring

• 2–4 years of hands-on experience in email marketing campaign setup and execution.
• Working experience with MoEngage and ConvertKit (or comparable ESPs/marketing automation platforms) is required.
• Strong understanding of segmentation, personalization, automation workflows, and A/B testing.
• Familiarity with email deliverability principles, list hygiene, and compliance requirements
• Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS for email template troubleshooting is a plus.
• Comfortable working with analytics/reporting dashboards to track and present campaign performance.
• Excellent attention to detail, especially around QA and proofreading.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously.
• Good written communication skills for crafting clear, on-brand campaign copy.
