Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Electrical Engineer role based in Kharagpur. The Electrical Engineer will design, develop, and review electrical systems and components used in rail equipment and supporting infrastructure. Daily tasks include creating electrical schematics, performing load calculations, supporting power distribution layouts, and ensuring compliance with relevant safety and industry standards. The role involves diagnosing and resolving electrical issues in existing systems, coordinating with mechanical and project engineering teams, and preparing technical documentation and reports. The Electrical Engineer will also assist in testing, commissioning, and periodic maintenance support for rail-related electrical systems on site.

Qualifications
- Strong foundational knowledge in Electricity and Electrical Engineering applicable to industrial and transportation environments.
- Proficiency in Electrical Design, including drafting schematics and selecting components for rail and infrastructure applications.
- Experience with Power Distribution systems, including panels, cabling, protection devices, and load management.
- Understanding of Power Systems, grid interaction, and reliability considerations for continuous operation.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Familiarity with relevant electrical codes, standards, and safety practices for industrial and rail settings.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, use CAD or electrical design tools, and prepare clear documentation.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively on-site with multidisciplinary teams.
- Previous experience in rail, transport, or heavy industrial projects is an advantage.
