E&I Quality Inspector / QA Representative (Offshore Fabrication)

RINA is currently looking for experienced E&I professionals for a long-term offshore fabrication project in India.

We are seeking candidates with a strong background in Electrical & Instrumentation inspections, quality assurance activities, and offshore fabrication environments.

Main Responsibilities

• Monitor contractor activities during fabrication.
• Verify compliance with project specifications, quality requirements, and applicable standards.
• Review and assess quality documentation, inspection records and test results.
• Participate in inspections, assessments and pre-commissioning activities.
• Support the client in ensuring quality requirements are consistently achieved throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Solid experience in offshore fabrication yards and Oil & Gas projects.
• Strong Electrical & Instrumentation background.
• Experience with equipment such as transformers, switchgear, MCCs, instrumentation systems, cables and related electrical packages.
• Knowledge of international standards and industry requirements (IEC, NEMA, ISO, etc.).
• Good understanding of QA/QC processes, Quality Plans and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
• Ability to work in a client-facing quality assurance role.
• Pre-commissioning experience is considered a strong advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous exposure to Aramco projects or requirements.
• CompEx certification.
• Experience working as Resident Inspector, QA Representative or Client Representative.

Project
