E-Commerce Manager Marketplace Lead

Shay (theshay.in) is a design-led tableware and home brand with a deep focus on ceramics. We sell across Amazon India, Flipkart, Quick commerce, and our website. We are in an aggressive multi-channel expansion phase and are looking for someone who can own our entire marketplace universe — managing existing channels at peak efficiency while building new ones from scratch.

THE ROLE

You own every marketplace Shay operates on. Amazon India is the base engine — you keep it running and growing. New channels like Myntra, Pepperfry, Nykaa Home, and Amazon Global are next — you identify, pitch, and build them.

You are commercial, data-driven, and fast. You do not wait to be told what to fix. You see the number before anyone else does.

You report directly to the Founder.

WHAT YOU WILL OWN

Amazon India — Full Ownership

• Complete Seller Central management — account health, listings, pricing, catalogue, A-to-Z claims
• Advertising — Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display
• TACOS target below 10%. ACOS target below 18%
• Listing quality — A+ content briefs, titles, keywords, parent-child architecture
• Pricing discipline — every ASIN at correct BAU pricing at all times
• Return rate monitoring — identify root causes and fix proactively
• Master ASIN sheet — every active ASIN, pricing, status, inventory level, listing health always updated
• Seasonal planning — GIF, Diwali, Republic Day — catalogue and pricing readiness
• Weekly Amazon report — revenue, TACOS, ACOS, account health, return rate

Flipkart — Vendor Model

• Full vendor model management — PO acceptance, SLA compliance, catalogue setup
• Flipkart ads — Sponsored Products and Performance Ads
• Listing quality — images, titles, descriptions per Flipkart requirements
• Pricing aligned with overall channel strategy
• Coordinate with operations on PO fulfillment timelines

New Channel Expansion

• Identify which new channels make sense for Shay — Myntra, Pepperfry, Nykaa Home, Meesho, Amazon Global UAE
• Own onboarding end to end — from first conversation to first revenue
• Catalogue setup, compliance requirements, pricing structure, and commercial terms for each new channel
• Build channel-wise P&L — every new channel must contribute margin not dilute it
• Target: at least two new channels live and generating revenue within 90 days

Data and Reporting

• Weekly performance report across all channels — revenue, ad spend, return rate, account health
• Monthly channel P&L — gross revenue, returns, fees, ad spend, net contribution by channel
• Work with MIS team daily — all decisions backed by data
• Flag pricing errors, listing suppressions, or account health issues same day — not at weekly review

Inventory Coordination

• Flag stock requirements before any ASIN approaches stockout
• Ensure zero ad spend on out-of-stock or suppressed ASINs
• Coordinate with operations on FBA and Flipkart fulfillment priorities

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• 4-6 years independently managing Amazon Seller Central at a brand — not agency, not platform side
• Documented TACOS results — specific before and after numbers shared in interview without hesitation
• Has onboarded at least one new marketplace beyond Amazon — Flipkart, Myntra, Pepperfry, or similar
• Has managed Flipkart vendor model or Flipkart Seller Hub
• Deep hands-on Amazon ads experience — Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display
• Active Helium 10 or similar tool user — weekly use, not occasional
• Thinks commercially — understands channel P&L, margin contribution, and unit economics
• Moves fast — identifies problems and acts without waiting to be told
• Has worked in home, lifestyle, kitchen, or consumer goods category — preferred
• Based in or willing to commute to South Delhi daily
