Drug Screen Collector / Medical Assistant

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Drug Screen Collector / Medical Assistant (MA) to join our team. In this position, you will perform drug screening collections while also providing clinical and administrative support to ensure efficient service.

Responsibilities

• Conduct drug and alcohol screenings following established protocols, including urine, hair, saliva, and breath tests.
• Ensure proper labeling, handling, and documentation of specimens for testing.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with all federal, state, and company regulations (e.g., DOT guidelines).
• Administer injections, assist healthcare providers with patient intake, vital signs, and basic clinical procedures during physicals.
• Manage supply inventory, perform other administrative tasks as needed, and maintain a clean work environment.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and clients throughout their visit.
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Medical Assistant certification is required.
• Prior experience in drug screen collection or phlebotomy is a plus (training provided if needed).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict protocols.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office is an advantage.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.
